To make matters worse, we have a local ice cream company that makes the best DAMN ice cream EVER!! Bluebell ice cream is DABOMB!! Mint chocolate chip, I'll stab you for the last bowl if you try to take it. I'm not joking.
Blue Bell is freaking incredible!

My weaknesses are banana pudding and controlling myself when other people are eating like crap

AND when you go over to peoples' houses and all they are trying to give you are unhealthy things. And you can't escape it.

Welcome to my office in education at least 3 times a week.

Usually, it goes like this:

Monday: Someone brings bagels from Panera, just because.

Tue-Thurs: People bring in homemade goodies. Peanut brittle on the table in there right now, for example.

Friday: Dunkin Donuts, because, hey, someone's football/basketball team is doing something.

I swear I get a sugar crash just from walking in there to get bottled water.

I did well though. During the holidays, I did not eat a single thing brought in by anyone.

My wife works with mostly all women at a bank office. There are involved in a circle of enabling.

One will being in junk so that the others around her are eating it. As a result, she feels good about eating it. It's an entirely different dynamic than how men eat.

My wife talks about how Woman A will one day talk about diet, then the next day bring in junk. Once the junk is partially gone, she joins in the party...

Oh yeah. The women at my office are like that as well.

I forgot to mention the birthday parties. Not one per month to recognize everyone, but one for each person, complete with insane amounts of cake and cookies.

Two weeks ago was a double German chocolate cake. One of my coworkers said, "Cmon, have a piece. You said you were gaining weight."

And I said, "Yeah, but I am trying to keep the muscle to fat gain at around 2:1. All that sugar won't do a thing but get stored as fat."

And they just looked at me.

And today, an email for Weight Watcher's goes flying around. OY.

^ Ha!

My wife is lucky in that her female boss lost 160 pounds 4 years ago and is not a fitness fanatic. Talk about a transformation!
