Yes, personally I think it's best to slowly transition into a diet rather than jumping in head first. Slowly decrease carbs over the next 1-2 weeks untill your at the no-carb point.

I would say you can have more than just peas and broc. Make sure to eat nuts, avacado, asparagus, use olive oil, salads any type of green veggie is best. Also are you thinking of adding a full day of carbs on the 6th day?

IMO if it was me I would say no, you want your body to get into ketosis and the sugars might just bring you out of it or keep you just out of reach from it.

I've ran keto a few times for various lengths of times, if you have any questions feel free to call me out bro. I have some info some where I will try to find. I think I posted some up in here some where.
Answers in red bro. I got my 5 year olds B-Day today so I will be out most of the day but I will try to get back in here later. LMK if you got any other questions!

You have been bulking 4 weeks? How has this went? The question, I always ask when one wants to turn to CKD, is: Have you tried to drop tissue using a more traditional macro approach, and deficit in calories, before wanting to turn to CKD? In addition, sometimes a simple reduction in carbohydrates (not going low enough and long enough to actually go into Ketogenesis and/or glucose depletion), along with a deficit in calories will do the trick for most (with higher BF to lose). I dont know your background, just thought I would ask.

What are your goals?

If that is a recent picture in your avatar, I don't think you really need to cut.

Also, a 4 week bulk is nothing. What you gained was more than likely water. Stick to a good slow bulk for at least 6 months, and THEN you can think about cutting.

Default Hello

Hello all its been a while since I been on.

Yes I bulked to 6 weeks going from 77kg to 83kg and yes mostly water weight been maintaining weight at 79.8-80kg. I will do a serious slow bulk after summer time.

I Wanted to do this to obviously cut up, but at the same-time to prove to myself I could do it. I am young, fit and healthy and wouldn't mind giving it a go purely just seeing how it goes.

Goals would be leaning out a bit more learning from this new approach to dieting and learning to mental and physical barriers it presents.

I allowed myself days mostly 2 at the most I would have my breakfast and pwo shake then no carbs after that to test it and gentle lowering food portions.

I have been losing approximately 0.2kg a week which I am happy. Soon as I have lowered my food portions my strength, endurance and speed has increased. I think this CKD diet is just a little test to learn mind over matte. Besides its all about trying new things in health and fitness.

this picture is of me when I joined MAB Will update eventually.
