Default Anybody read "Better Than Steroids"?

I would like to know if anyone on the site has read "Better Than Steroids"? If so what did you think of it and are the plans effective?

I am constantly learning about weightlifting and I feel that now is the time in my life where I need to start learning about diet in order to stay healthy and continue to grow into the future.

Is it worth buying this book? Thanks guys

Hi Jeremy,

It is one of the best books on dieting in the niche. It lays out several great plans and approaches, but more then that, it gets you thinking about all the dieting possibilities. I actually interviewed the author I liked the book so well:

Interview with Dr. Warren Willey: Better Than Steroids Muscle and Brawn Bodybuilding and Powerlifting.

It's the type of book that gets you thinking. It's hard not to learn from this book. Very straightforward, and lots of usable detail.

Enough said for me, I think I am going to buy an edition in print it is only a few more dollars and I really do not enjoy ebooks

Yeah, you might want to get a highlighter with this book. Definitely don't want an ebook.

Although I have not read the book yet, I think that his methods would work for both men and women. He is basically just teaching you how to better use food as fuel.

It's really for anyone. It's not a "diet" per se as much as it is ways of combining eating approaches to lean out and add muscle.

It presents different variations of zig-zagging calories, talks about keto runs, etc.
