4) Do you prefer sugary/fatty cheat meals, or "healthy" cheat meals? (i.e., an on-plan food, but larger quantities)

5) Have you found it to impact your progress in a negative or positive way?

Absolutely.

Usually nachos and ice cream.

3) How often do you have them?

At most once a month.

4) Do you prefer sugary/fatty cheat meals, or "healthy" cheat meals? (i.e., an on-plan food, but larger quantities)

No healthy for me. I'm all about satisfying mental cravings.

5) Have you found it to impact your progress in a negative or positive way?

In the off-season, not at all. Cutting, it plays with your head because of the scale fluctuation, but I get over that because there is more to life then obsessing over one area. I cheat. I enjoy. I move on.

Once a week. I'm not in contest prep so it does not matter as much to me. I want to live my life and be happy, and have some balance.

Depends how much money I have at least 3-4 a week

Definately fatty foods.

5) Have you found it to impact your progress in a negative or positive way?
Good for bulking IMO as thats all I've ever done.

My current diet is a cheat meal..


When I'm on training, I eat some DD on the weekends, and have a few beers.. maybe, big maybe..some fast food but only if in a hurry.. and pizza.. always kills me, always tastes so good..

Now are we talking "CHEAT" or "REFEEDS"?

Cheats would be more appropriate for bulking or hard gainers as refeeds would be more for cutting, CKD, KETO etc....

I TRY to stay away from cheat meals and stick to refeeds as much as possible but in my current diet it's mainly one meal a week I get a refeed. Lately I have incorporated a very small amount of carbs to my diet and feel it has help me dramatically. I've been on a keto diet for nearly 7 months so that could be a major factor.
