I got the best weight loss results when on a Cyclical Keto Diet(CKD)...I was also miserable all day, and no matter how much fat I ate it still wasn't enough..which led to no energy and feeling dead after 4 1/2 weeks. Since then, I've been pretty much keeping a low carb lifestyle until just recently..

I just try to eat semi-healthy, not let myself starve, and not woory about macros too much. It's just too complicated to keep calculating this and that. I'll probably try a more Warrior/Keto diet again this Summer on cut, but I'm not sure I'll ever get rid of the belly....and I'm not sure I care. I figure by continuing to increase muscle strength and size, it won't make the fat look so bad..

I also had success with the warrior diet.

Steve motivated me to try it out with his vid blogs.

I blogged it on another site from March 2nd, 2009 to May 14th of that year.

Here's how it worked:

March 2- 6'4, 202 lbs, 17.4% BF

May 14- 6'4, 191.4 lbs, 12.5% BF

I eventually went off of it in June to just a normal keto/low-carb diet following the same principles as the warrior diet. Widdled myself down to a really unhealthy 184 or so at about 9.9% BF. I looked like a POW & was doing crossfit on far too few cals.

Now on a bulk & doing Starting Strength. About 3500-4000 cals a day, relatively clean.

Current: 205, 14.3% BF. I drink absurd amounts of milk and probably eat more beef than I should.

I know a guy who runs the warrior diet all his life as btb said it's a lifestyle diet. He fights mma cage fights but i never did that while i fought, but it works for him but as btb said i have to have my food i love to eat lol. I'm a fat kid at heart.

The best diet was when i used the zigzag bulking doet

but what works for me is just a balanced diet high in protein

Best diet...... I suggest shooting over to Waxys in Foxboro Saturday night for dinner after 7pm, I'll be there at that time, can't miss me. Grab a steak, cooked medium, with Champ mashed potatos, and whatever the veggie is for the day!

This is what I eat at least 2-3x weekly there. I suggest it!
