its not easy for most people, its easy for some people and at that, at a certain point unless you buy really expensive and illegal "VITAMINS" its hard for everyone to pack on good solid muscle. if your a person who drinks more than one protein shake a day you wouldn't want to drink more than one of the heavy weight gainers a day. they are heavy shakes to carry around. for me they actually supress my appetite so i stay away from them anyways. stick to low calorie multiple times per day thats my thought.

I would watch the sugar levels of all of these weight gainers especially muscle juice, here is my weight gainer:

2 scoops protein
2 tablespoons peanut butter or more
2 scoops ice cream or yogurt
1 Banana
Ice/Milk

Need more calories add more peanut butter or ice cream, works for me

You don't need to use a prepackaged weight gainer. Milkshakes you make at home with, milk, protein powder, and ice cream. There's plenty of calories right there.

Unless you don't want to blend anything, or don't have freezer space

Agreed. In that case, cheeseburgers will do nicely.

There's usually some fast food joint running a special on burgers. I can usually find a whopper size burger for a buck most days of the week. However I also have all my own stuff. Blenders, freezers, and space to do this stuff.

I take protein powder to work with me, and mix it up in a cup, and chug it down, with a couple of fish oil caps. Not an epicurean delight of a meal but it gets the job done.

One of the best gainers IMO is Universal Nutrition's Real Gains. Lots of bang for the buck and it has a pretty good profile!

Universal Real Gains (per serving / 3.5 scoops)
Micellar Casein - Yes
Sugar - 5g
Fructose - No
Calories from Sugar - 3%
Inulin - Yes
Fiber - 5g
Total Calories - 610

I used CytoGainer w/ whole milk for about a year, worked great and tasted good too. if you order via Amazon Subscribe and Save you get free shipping plus an extra 15% off. It makes it pretty cheap.

Otherwise just get plain old whey and bulk maltodextrin or waxy maize (That's what differentiates most 'gainer' products from regular whey).
