Roasting Raw Almonds

Anyone ever roasted their own almonds? I bought some raw almonds at a discounted price and my wifey hates them, so i need to roost them.

Seeking advice...

I've done it. I first soaked them in salt water just to give them a little bit of flavor enhancement. Then I sprinkled jalapeno powder on them, then baked them for 15 minutes on 350 degrees. Dang are they good and they are SO much cheaper than other flavored almonds.

BTW, I've also done them plain and I liked them better too than raw almonds. But just wanted to add a little kick as I like spicy things.

Not a fan of almonds really...I will occasionally use some slivered ones on top of a protein pudding.

Worse are those pistachios. Disgusting. >:(

I'm not a big fan of pistachios or peanuts, but man I can eat me some almonds.

I'm late on everything here lately aren't? Distracted? ;)

I only soaked them for about 5 minutes. My main goal was to add just a slight salty flavor and since they were wet, the jalapeno powder stuck to them very well.
