Default What multi vitamin do you use?

Hey guys, what multi do you take? I have used animal pack, but it is really pricy. Been using a generic one a day, but thinking I may need something a little better. Thanks.

I took Animal Pak for over a year.... I liked it but just too many pills ( about 11 if I remember correctly).... now I use One A day or Wal mart brand..... they seem to work pretty good...... some say there is o advantage to a multi but I figure it can't hurt to take one

I don't take a multi vitamin. I eat this instead:

http://www.vitacost.com/ys-eco-bee-f...is-and-ginseng

Bee pollen alone is capable of sustaining human life on it's very own, and thus is the most nutritious thing you can eat. It has every nutrient in it known to man, and then some. So, why wouldn't you want to sub it for a multi?

My blood work has also been verified to have perfect levels of all nutrients they can test for.

Your typical multivitamin that you buy in most stores doesn't have enough potency to be of much value, IMO. I take this stuff which you can buy on Amazon and some health food stores. http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Plus-S.../dp/B00028OXVM It was recommended to me years ago by a guy at the gym and I tried it and have been on it ever since because I notice a huge difference when taking it.

I've heard good things about bee pollen as well.

I take Vita Drive from AAEFX. Great potency and formulated in a clean room setting from raw ingredients.

There's compelling evidence out there that multis can do more harm than good - literally.

I don't trust them. After all, even supposing everything in them can be absorbed to a reasonable extent (hint: that's not even a safe assumption, as it turns out), you can in fact "OD" no various things that multis contain. And given that everyone's diets vary A LOT... uh, yeah. No thanks.

tl;dr: Chances are, you'll get way too much of some crap (some of which might inhibit your absorption of another vital thing...) and not enough - or none - of some others.

It was first recommended to me by Tosca Reno. She's 50+ and looks like she's 30 years old lol. She is also the author of eat clean books.

Bee Pollen is collected by bee keepers as the bee enters the hive. Bee's collect it of course, and mix their saliva with it before re-entering the hive.. This is the key part. This process turns it into the nutritional powerhouse it is. It contains every nutrient, macro and micro, needed to sustain human life. In other words, if you were stranded on a deserted island and had nothing to eat but this, and water of course, you would live to a ripe old age.

This product is mixed with Royal Jelly, which bees also make, and used to feed the larvae. What is interesting, is that in order to turn any larvae into a new queen, the worker bees feed the larvae more royal jelly. I like the royal jelly because it helps with my eye disease, Birdshot. Royal jelly is kept stable by mixing it with raw honey, like in this product I linked to. Royal jelly is also extremely nutritious even on its own.

Bee propolis is another product bees make to keep the hive the most sanitary place on Earth - even more so than a surgical instruments in a hospital. If a living creature enters the hive, they attack it and kill it. Since they cannot remove it from the hive, they coat it with bee proplis which guarantees it will not infect the hive forever as long as the bees are in it.

Another thing I like about this is that it is really a food product and is highly absorbable by the body.

Of course, if one is allergic to any bee product, do not use!!
