Most quality whey protein powders are packed full of BCAA's. Buying extra BCAA's is a waste of money,imo.

But you're definitely right, and whey is already the easiest of all the protein supps to digest even without the addition of BCAA's.

BCAA's are the 3 amino acids Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine (Proteins are made of 20 amino acids).
These 3 amino acids promote muscle protein synthesis and increase muscle growth over time. It actually delays fatigue if taken during you workout.

Bcaas stimulate the building up of protein in muscle, are great for aiding in maintaining an anabolic state, especially during a fasted period or one of high intensity training, improving exercise performance, and reducing protein/muscle breakdown. Most important of those are L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine.
