Hey guys,

was just trying to get on this "healthy" kick with food and trying to get the most out of my food. I obviously know whole milk is best for growth but it has too much fat and other hormones i do not want. i have been messing around with organic fat free milk, almond milk, and lactose free (lactaid milk). From the looks of it the lactaid milk has more protein but also more fat and calls...i heard almond milk is the best since it is dairy free and a better type of fat but their is legit 1 gram of protein.

Basically I'm just seeing what you guys think the best milk is for staying lean and big...basically "lean bulk". basically something you can drink during a cut.

Semi-skimmed milk? I need to gain weight so I down as much full fat milk as possible :)

I drink 2% most of the time. Not as bad as whole milk, but you still have the flavor that skim milk does not.

Maybe organic skim, 1%, or 2%. Less fat/calories than whole milk. If it's certifiable organic &/or grass fed cows, then no hormones.

I've looked into this. The only problem is I have to win the lottery to eat organic. Organic/grass fed milk is 2x the price of regular.

Don't even get me started on the eggs, cheese, veggies and meat. I'd have to win the lottery and sell bodyparts, children, etc.

I have lost over 100 lbs, and kept it off for 11 months...I drink 3/4 to 1 gallon of regular, whole milk a day.

25 is supposed to be the best. All the bad fats out and healthy fat left in. I would look at that,.

I drink 2% all the time, whole milk just tastes like pure fat to me and most skim tastes like water. How about 1% chocolate milk?

I drink about 2 cups (500 mL) in my protein shake on most days. The last two days I haven't had this shake and just ate instead to meet my macros. I'm trying to lose weight/BF right now, and this allowed me to eat more food to keep me full. I might have to stop with the protein powder, and just eat the protein instead (or maybe have it with a salad) to keep me feeling full. I won't stop drinking milk though.
