I never got into adding things to my Protein shake, don't really like it and it takes away from the flavor of the shake itself. I am addicted to almonds I think, off season I will switch up the nuts from almonds to cashews or pecans. Both of these have a good balance of omega 3s and omega 6s. Its hard to find them unsalted and they don't taste as good unsalted, thats why I only do them off season. Prep time I stick with unsalted almonds.

I've used the evoo oil a couple of times this week to increase fat & hit my macros. Not tasted too bad it gives it a little twang, I can certainly live with that. Seems to mix the shake better too

I've looked around for coconut oil & macadamia oil but they seem quite expensive in comparison to evoo

althogh i dont add them to my shakes, i eat 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter a day, switch between almonds and cashews also.

Same here, for "all the time".

Now and then? Just about any other kind of fat. Butter, cheese, cream, olive oil, almond butter, salmon, meat that still has fat included... yeah, you name it.

Haven't raelly got into coconut oil yet, though I've heard it's da bomb. (?) Certainly seems to be popular here!

I use whole milk for putting protein into, anyhow, to actually answer the OP.


edit: None of the above should be taken as advice, however, lol. Reason being, I'm trying my damnedest to gain [lean] weight! Kinda getting there, now... I think.

Anyone use mayonnaise much?

Now that I'm increasing calories I can use this to mix in with my pasta & tuna. It seems like its good fat
