That's one of the great things about getting your diet under control, whether you literally count calories (or try to) or not. The ability to be what looks like reckless or even gluttonous at times, but not suffer for it in any way whatsoever.

A mixed approach can work well too: "healthy" alternatives most of the time, then some of the "bad" food on a semi-regular basis, for "cheat days", say, or just very occasionally. Or whatever suits the person in question.
Agree...

I eat bacon, eggs, cookies, raw milk, a snickers bar, a deli meat sandwich, red meat and potato chips almost every day...I have been losing body fat, gaining muscle and expect my blood labs to have improved since last tested in Dec...

Work your vices INTO your plan!!

One of my favorite "desserts" is a sludge I make. I either use nonfat plain greek yogurt or cottage cheese and mix in my favorite protein flavor with peanut butter! It's really good!

If I am craving chocolate, I eat a square of dark chocolate. It is good for you in moderation and kills the sweet tooth.
