Those reports have to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. Everything we eat has issues whether pesticides in our produce or issues with our meat. Within moderation you are safe.

Sorry if i came off as grumpy. I actually had no clue how much mercury was in this stuff until I checked it out. I'm a big dude, around 310 pounds, and wasn't really paying attention to things like mercury or PCBs in my fish. I didn't experience any bad effects, but I was eating on average 20 cans of tuna a week. That didn't seem extreme to me, but after looking at the information, i've cut it down to about half that, just to be on the safe side.
