Vitamin C
 
I have heard that vitamin C is great for helping sore joints and muscles due to the fact that it helps heal. How much should one aim for in vitamin C daily? Would it be alright to take it twice daily?

Our bodies can only absorb a certain amount of vitamins/minerals. I believe we can absorb 1000mg of vitamin C a day. Usually vitamin C tablets are 1000mg. Not all of it is absorbed, but eating fresh fruits and veggies is still better for you. I believe some peppers have more vitamin C than oranges.

Kiwi fruits are higher in vit C than oranges, I believe, may have more than peppers too.
