Default Swimming after lifting

I was thinking about swimming after lifting. Would this hamper my weight training? i was reading in Arnolds book that i just bought that he recommend swimming or running and he did so after training. I'm not trying to be Arnold but I want to get a little bigger.

I can't say about straight after lifting,

But for me, I like to swim on my non-lifting days.

I find it great for getting rid of those niggling injuries

I do it as well, it seems to get the blood moving again. I often go from the pool to the hot tub.
