Splits
 
Since I am not very far into training, is it beneficial for me to do upper body one day and then lower body the next day? Currently I am doing this:

M:lower
T: upper
W: lower
Th:rest
F:upper
S:rest
S:rest

As a new lifter, train the whole body each day (2 or 3 days a week) or do a push/pull split (3 or 4 days a week).

Depends what you want to get out of the program.
