i have found the ratio to be about 2 x that of the dumbbell

I do goblet squats but the max dumbbell I have is 215 pounds and I don't think I could get it into position. If I could I believe I would be able to DB squat it fairly easily.

I think "if" I were able to held a heavy dumbbell, it would probably be close to my zercher squat level, or maybe 55 to 50% of my back squat.

Merely guessing here.

yeah thats about right....a 215lb dumbell goblet squat would be pretty insane lol

yesterday i goblet squatted 120db for sets of 10 and on back squat i can do roughly 110-120kg for 10 reps

This is hard considering the scarcity of heavy-arse dumbbells not to mention a significant amount of arm/shoulder strength required which isn't so for the back squat. An easier comparision can probably be made with the zercher as steve mention or to a less extent the front squat.

Looking back through my log, the best goblet squat I did was 19x120, the heavy dumbbell available. Best squat around that time was a 1x395 and 12x315. Hard to compare those numbers, but...

Whereas my zercher squat is heavier than my back squat...of course, that could be because I have done very few back squats in comparison to the zercher squats.

My goblet squat, possibly for the same reason, may be a tad over 50% of my back squat.
