Default Front Squats & Back Squats

Ok guys, this is surely a discussion that has been raised countless times before. I've just started to do front squats as I realise they are good for quad/ab/chest/shoulder developement, however I can't seem to lift the same weight as I can as opposed to back squats.

Is this normal? To be able to load more weight on the back squat than the front squat?

Many thanks.
