Default When is it best to take creatine?

I have heard before a workout and after a workout. Which one will give me the most impact?

It's probably more important just to take it consistantly and not worry about optimum timing. Take it when it's convenient.

What Mr. Road said. Timing is unlikely to have much impact on efficacy.

Timing isn't a big issue.

Some people get a better drive and workout with pre and some get a better recovery post.

Its find what works for you the best.

Personally I do both.

This. Creatine involves saturation, which takes time. I've been told that most can achieve full saturation taking in 5g a day, in about 30 days. After that its just consistency. Cycling and taking 20g a day is completely unnecessary and a waste of money.

^5 The average person will just pee out anything more than 5g's a day once saturated.
