Default No Gym Access

While traveling for the holidays I will have not access to a gym. What are some exercises that I can do to help keep me in shape from the comfort of my inlaws home?

How long of a break is it?
I usually just recommend people enjoy the break if it's not longer than a week.

Just do some bodyweight exercises; google search "bodyweight routines youtube" etc and there will be a number to select from.

When I am on the road without a gym I do push ups, sit ups, chair dips, jump squats, planks and whatever else I think of. A pure week off won't hurt anything either as long as it's not a common occurrence.

I grabbed a fitdeck for me and a fitdeck jr. for my kids some time back. Great bodyweight exercises and the format of it being a deck of cards makes it a blast to do as you can shuffle and the next exercise a surprise. Makes a great travel companion. They also have an app on Itunes. Not sure if they have it on the droid though.

That sounds interesting, especially in the sense of not quite knowing what the card will throw up as the next exercise; I know some people use cards for interval training with each intensity/duration hinging on the turn of the card...keeps it fresh.

I will be at my parents home over xmas but they have free weights for me to use. But if you can not lift then you can atleast get some physical exercise with walks, runs, etc.
