There is no secret to losing weight and feeling healthy that we don't all know. Eat right, exercise and work hard.

Edit: I wrote "lose" and "feel" instead of "losing" and "feeling." Fail.

In at least some cycles experiment with maximising training volume. As long as you approach this with caution, high volume training has many health benefits especially for the older lifter.

When progress stalls, it isn't always necessary to make big changes. Often times little changes like hand/foot placement, eating and resting more, more focus on better lifting form, or more/less volume can get things moving again.

Might add this tomorrow:

Keep your elbows at no greater than 45 degrees away from the sides of your body when pressing. Nothing puts more stress on the anterior joint capsule and related structures than benching with your elbows straight out. Well maybe not nothing, but its got to be close to one of the worst habits you can get into.
