OP: how about you explain to me why the largest muscle group in your body can be effectively trained with the 1 blitzkrieg set?

The leg press does build quad size, that can't be ignored, but every and I do mean every, Bodybuilder that's worth a crap agrees that Squats are the king of quads. Why don't you Squat?
