Wish I had all the inside information you all seem to have, would help in making a more fair assessment.

I was wondering that myself. That brings into play plenty of added variables. Water retention when on, losing weight when off. We have no clue if he is an educated AAS user, and there are so many variables regarding what he could be taking, or where he might be at (PCT, Cruising, etc.) that it leaves us uber handicapped.

Also, when I thought of his illness, I thought AAS. I know someone who had tainted "supps" and had lung/cold related issues....either from the "supps" or from a weakened immune system dealing with whatever he was taking. I just know he was sick for months, and it was scary.

To Big55...by beefy I mean he looks like he could compete.

If he is in fact 220@14% bf, then he is carrying approx 190lbs of lean mass.

He said he started lifting approx first part of 2009, so he has been lifting just over 2 years. I found where he states his height is 6' tall.

April of last year he says he is 200lbs at 13-14% bf.

That would give him a LBM of approx 178lbs.

According to the natural limits work, at 6' he should max out at 189-190lbs.

So, in approx 2 years of lifting he has reached natural limits for his size, according to what he is claiming. He also has had a layoff in that time.

I think his calories are off, meaning he is not eating as much as he thinks he is.

He said his strength is still going up.

So, I don't think he is stalling in the real sense. His weight might not be increasing, but he isn't stalling (IMO) as long as he can lift heavier weights for more reps.

the first thing i thought of with that weight and bf% was that the kid was on something and not seeing the results or was off cycle for a while and still expecting the same results.

All I'm going to say is if this kid is 220 @ 14% then he should be competing naturally right now, because thats insane. If hes not natty, which I am lead to believe, then he needs to add moar sauce and whole food.
