my favorite question goes something like "brah, yo brah, you doing legs today brah? why was the bar in front of you brah? You know your supposed to hold the bar behind you right, brah. Im killing legs today to brah like 60 reps on the leg press, huge pump brah, huge pump.........brah" while not a direct quote a closely paraphrased quote from a young man at the gym i go to. I worry about this generation, a lot, a whole lot.

I just started squatting and deadlifting 10 months ago. Now I don't see how I ever trained without them.

The pluses to training at home just keep stacking up.

I'm in the process of getting a Home Gym setup, there's just no camaraderie in gyms anymore, just a bunch of a-holes, snobs, and douchebags. I miss the old crew at my old gym, but I guess it was an end of an era.

i have to honestly say that was me for a long time. i didn't do squats cause they weren't comfortable for me or i used my back issues as a crutch to puss out of them. man am i glad i grew out of that!!! it took me till i was 30 but you can never lose hope for the youth. but for me i lift at a powerlifters gym. i lift with a group of 3 guys that only have one idea in mind and that is moving heavy weight. sometimes there is as many as 6 or 7 of us on a monday doin bench with everyone pushin each other to go bigger and push harder. then we go eat tacos till we puke!! thats what i call trainin!

^ This type of training gets me moving and motivated. There's nothing like having the energy around you of others who are pushing themselves to insane levels.
