Great job on your first day. Don't worry about "light weight" with the squats just get your form squared away and the weight will come in time proper form with lighter weights always trumps sloppy form with heavy weights. Keep up the good work

thanks for all the support guys. had another good session today. went to the gym with a buddy instead of working out at home. my friend has been working out for about 2 years and today i showed him how to military press lol. its amazing how some people totally just get sucked into cable machines and never do the most basic compound lifts out there.

And if you get hurt you cant train at all so smart move working on form. I suggest you watch some Rippetoe videos on youtube. They are very good.
