Than who?

No one has ever exceeded those calculations by more than a couple pounds.

We're talking the greatest naturals of all time, including many modern natural champions.

My LBM is 178-179 which is right around where Casey predicted, and it hasn't budged in 10 years.

From my interview with Casey Butt:

Quote:
Here's were it gets interesting: With the form of the equation determined, data from 1947 to 2009 (it's an ongoing process) world, national and regional drug-free bodybuilding competitors shows a strong correlation between height, wrist and ankle girths, and maximum peak LBM.

Scaled for height and bone structure size, the largest drug-free bodybuilders of the past 60+ years all top out at essentially the same level. In other words, Reg Park, who was one of the largest elite bodybuilders of the 1950s, carried roughly the same degree of development as a more modern drug-tested champion such as Dave Goodin or Jim Cordova - when scaled accordingly. Even Steve Reeves, who was not known for great muscular size, scales to the same level when his height and bone structure are taken into account.

That's not saying that modern bodybuilders don't look more muscular than those of earlier eras because of their extremely low contest body fat levels and aesthetics, but in terms of LBM with body fat percentage factored in, they haven't gotten significantly larger.

8 modern naturals I have profiled in the last 16 months...many top names.

I have listed their competition weights, which include bodyfat, and their predicted LBMs. If you look close most don't compete at a weight at or above their max LBM, which means they are at or below max natural potential.

Montealegre, Yellin, Clady and Ricardo Jr are all pros, by the way.

Quote:
Eric Halperin
6'0"
Comp Weight 183-185
Pred LBM = 189

Jereff Clady
5'9"
Comp Weight 165-168
Pred LBM = 179

Phil Cohen
6'0"
Comp Weight 175
Pred LBM = 189

Michael Paquette
5'10"
Comp Weight 183
Pred LBM = 182

Kyle Griffin
5'10"
Comp Weight 175
Pred LBM = 182

Stu Yellin
5'8"
Comp Weight 173
Pred LBM = 174

Francisco Montealegre
5'10"
Comp Weight 176
Pred LBM = 182

Philip Ricardo Jr.
5'9"
Comp Weight 180
Pred LBM = 178

I was talking about the formula for predictions, it bases most of the calculation on wrist and ankle circumferences, mine are insanely big, even when leaned out. That's why I posted earlier he has a cushion for people that come up with insane number and have abnormally large ankles/wrists.

But by going by the calculations its still puts me damn near 200lbs at 8-10% BF, which is crazy. But i know thats incorrect, the only reason this number comes up is because of the measurements of the wrists/ankles, which mine happen to be a little "different" than most lol.
