For the most part...

1.) head home from work
2.) start changing into workouts clothes
3.) piss/shit
4.) if im taking and preworkout type supps i take/drink
5.) go over what i plan on doing in the gym
6.) drive to the gym hopefully something hard is on the radio (5 minute drive)
7.) before i even get out of my truck i put chalk on my hands

^ this last one is new but I have noticed that it kinda flips a switch in my head

I just try to get as mentally ready to lift as I can. Visualizing my session, each set, the ROM and weights and progression throughout. Not like a serious thing, but I like to be totally focused on what I'm there to do.

I've had plenty of free time this year to get completely neurotic about pre-training 'rituals',
It actually got to the stage where I wouldn't train unless everything I wanted to have happen, happened. On time, with no complications.

Nowadays I train alone with loud metal, or relative silence if the Mrs is home.
I might train at 3 if the weather's good, or 7 if it's not.
I have trained when we have company, and I've trained while she's cooking dinner (The Iron Pit is pretty much an extension of the kitchen).

The point is I train, and I don't let circumstance change that anymore.

Before a heavy squat or deadlift Ill psych myself up, slapping in face, chest, legs, breath little faster. As far as before workout, nothing much...Ill always do 5-10 mins of cardio before because I notice I get psyched more to lift when Im doing cardio.

My diet is fine. I always shit like that in the am. Since i was young. I never finish i poop then just keep moving. So i go back and finisn
