I will say this...if you can't train on the bare minimums, you shouldn't be training using complicated exercises and workouts.

Just one man's opinion...

Make that 2!

I work with some fairly high tech equipment, and I am allowed, and required to fly in the cockpit of our aircraft. However I really don't have a desire to fly that level of aircraft. I also crewed Blackhawks for awhile.

I have had the most fun flying when I was just flying VFR with a map and compass. There is just something satisfying about being more in control and in touch at a visceral level. Thats why if I had a boat it would be a sailboat, and not a power boat.

One thing I love about training at home is the simplicity. My homemade reverse hyper table is the only machine I have to set up. Just basic equipment. I have always taught and practiced that when things are tough or not going right return to the basics. That is what I like about these classic routines, they emphasize the basics.

When I'm at a commercial gym it's harder for me to stay focused. I want to try everything out.

Thats why you turn your Geezer switch to the full on position. Look at that overly complicated machine that makes doing a pullup easier, and make a noise at it. Then casually walk over to a chin bar, and knock out bodyweight reps.

I have a very simple way to make chins easier.

1. Do them!
2. Lose weight!
3. Chins are now easier.

Pay the cashier. We take plastic, and validate parking.

Looks good Bam. I like the addition of the higher rep sets.

NO!

Later today, I'll get into why. I read your Reeves log, and I'll address your questions about increasing weights on the worksets as well.

The instructions are still being edited as I go through them and as people have questions about them. My day job, and other obligations keep me from working fulltime on this project.

Keep asking questions. Certain answers will be added to the program notes, while others will just be answered in the thread.
