5 sets of BW work. If you can get 10 dips on the first set stop, and then do a second set trying for 10.

If your getting 5x10 dips at BW at the end of the program, well you probably won't, at least not to start.

agreed on i definetly wont get 5x10 right now. all in one i can only get about 6 dips, so 5 sets of dip work, I like this because i need to work on my dip form, its horrible i go to low and hurt my shoulders have to stop that, 90 degress arm flare and lean forward correct?

I'll see if I can get some photo's this week of dips from various angles.

It is more of a pivot from your shoulder so that if you were to view yourself from the side your arms are straight, and your torso is angled a few degrees to the open position.

Doing this loads your whole upper body. The further you can angle your body back the greater the load. This is why gymnast have such huge upper body strength and musculature.

I have set a bench PR before by only doing dips. I had not benched in about 20 months, but had been doing dips andother gymnastic type upper body work. I benched 240 after walking the weight up from 180. Several months later after doing conventional BB type work I did 280.

Clearly, dips done correctly are not for sissies.

All the routines are now on the first page in the first post.
I still have some notes to add, but I just didn't get to it today.

If you had bookmarked them and wonder where they went, they are front and center.
