The DB/CGBP There are a couple of different ways to go about it.

I would superset them at a light weight as a general warmup. Not so heavy as to be a pre exhaust, but enough that you don't feel any need for further warmup or stiffness as you go into the dips, and chin movements.

There is another idea as well that you could try.

How many dips and chins can you do right now?
I could do somewhere around 10-12 dips and 8 chin-ups last time i tried

Alright. make sure the warmup work is just that, warmup.

I might not superset, but thats your call. I've done it before, and it is a butt kicker, in a good way. Try to get at least 15 reps of each one, and bulldozer those last few reps if you have too, to complete 15 of each.

Then build your numbers from there.

You have been doing a very good job with your work, and have come along way. Trust yourself, and do what feels right.

ok i won't superset but yeah i'll work for total reps. i'll start with 15-20 total reps per exercise and increase volume as I go. As always, thanks for the help GL

Your strength is going to build, and it will not be long before you dipping some big numbers.

Some seriously strong people have sworn by dips.

How would you feel about a MAB challenge contest starting the 1st of the year?

The challenge this year will be for a one month or 3 month Fullbody program.

Strictly a fun challenge. I'm going to post a thread about it in the next few days. I'm putting together a framework and some programs for it.
