i didn't see it mentioned but don't forget plyometrics. if you can make boxes for this it would be awesome. i don't remember the three heights we had when i was in school but they can help alot with strength and agility.

damn i ment to mention plyometrics, they are very good, we did lateral jumps, box jumps and something else i dont remember the name but i think it was depth jumps

yeah we did vertical jumps, box jumps and standing broad jumps. let me tell ya when you broad jump like 10 times in a row without losing balance......your legs are tired!!

thanks a lot guys I appreciate all the help, I am going to take all of these ideas and include them when I train these kids.

I want to build overall athleticism in them so I think basic strength training with a lot of plyometrics, speed work, and competition will be good for them. Of course I will keep it fun always.

Bodyweight stuff. Isometric Holds. Sandbag and Keg things are always fun. Lots of medley's and conditioning work. Bear crawls, backwards lunges, high knee lunges, step ups, push ups, most of the basics then get creative.
