If a teen is of the new breed and spends 20 hours a day in front of the computer, then I could see that.

Like you Steve, I ate all day long and really healthy foods too. Things like snow balls, twinkies, hostess cup cakes, coke and ice cream. Of course there was breakfast and dinner which were quality food. I worked my arse off to reach 175 while in high school. As kids we never stopped moving and rode miles every day on bicycles.

The biggest issue I have is that the recommendation was based solely upon a BMI calculation, based on the teen's weight. No feedback was taken from the teen.
