Let's talk diet! Obviously you can build muscle and get lean, but most people don't realize how building muscle is relatively easy compared to getting lean. What say you?

Bump this question. Since you look like you have the key to diet. Give us some of your thoughts here.

How should a hardgainer gain and should he worry about too much fat?
How should someone who is too fat get down without losing too much muscle mass?

Welcome to CRAP training RickB.

Think of a hardgainer as a battery that is not plugged in. They only believe they don't have power because they have not tapped into it yet. They, more then anyone, need "Constant Recovery Anabolic Phase." They should train in waves, bulk in cyclical, non-carbohydrate detained macro-periods. Minor fat gain will occur, but muscle gains will be pronounced.

Large individuals should use the same cyclical protocol, but rather use it in a calorie deficit.

I hope this helps.

I need to think about what you just said here. While I think your trying to overtalk the issue, there is actually some, (some) truth in science to what your saying.
