Take your whey Protein with a teaspoon of sugar to open up your veins, This was told to me yesterday in the gym by a "Bro-Scientist". I just look at him and walked away!

I once had my protein shake 34 minutes after my workout instead of within my 30 minute window. I lost a weeks worth of gains, and then got beat up by a girl.

Also, doing full ROM squats blew out both of my knees. Twice.

5 favorites of mine I've heard from clients and other trainers over the years are...
1) You must squat so low that your ass touches your heels
2) When doing tricep rope pulldowns, always splay the rope at the bottom to get extra deep into the triceps
3) Big weights are needed to get big
4) Drink a coke with your protein shake so the carbs can shuttle the protein to the muscles
5) Don't warm up.

Both true, near as I can tell.

The first one, you can find out by trying it, and comparing.

The second is indisputable, really. Unless you are meaning that you can get FAT without big weights, in which case... sure.

When you splay out excessively on the end of the range of motion it puts more stress on your traps than is worth the minimal extra flex you'll get on the triceps. Diminishing rewards...

You don't need to lift crazy heavy in order to get bigger. Skeletal muscle is not all fast twitch muscle fiber and you can't convert slow to fast twitch. You need a balanced combination just as you need a balanced approach to nutrition and recovery iof you want to get bigger.
