Are you all mocking my post? it was 100% serious? lol

Your not guna achieve anything, if you dont believe it is posible... thats what i was trying to say.

So by not believing someone is natural, you are only limiting yourself.

I don't think anyone here doubts their abilities or potential. We're just experienced (or old!) enough to know that a lot of physiques that are advertised as all-natural (+ cell tech!!!) are really steroid bodies...

Natural testosterone limits how much mass you can have. Naturals can only get so big.

Determining Natural Bodybuilding Potential

I haven't gained a pound of mass in 10 years of training. I've been at my limit of 178-180 during the duration.

Being optimistic is a good quality, but one should do so through the lens of scientific reality. The above link is a culmination of a study on 300 natural bodybuilding champions. There is no getting bigger then the numbers on that page. I hope I don't come off as rude by stealing your momentum, but I don't want you to live in a world that isn't real.

I'll say it again...physiologically, a bodybuilder can get only so big with natural testosterone levels. That is why steroids are needed to get bigger...they inflate these values, among other good benefits.

Thechosenone...I don't doubt your abilities either. But the truth is that most natural bodybuilders never reach their natural potential. I hope you become one of them.

This I can agree with. But the corollary - "you will achieve anything that you think is possible" is not necessarily true.

This I cant agree with. Take a look at the top natties over the ages ... from Reeves to Parks to Yorton to Cordova. To get to a freakish look of a Ronnie Coleman, they need to get past through these spectacular physiques. Most natural folks dont even get there. So trying to psyche yourself by thinking Ronnie is a natty and I can be like him is retarded.

I highly doubt unless someone has a top class physique already, by looking up to the likes of Parks or Cordova or Maxick they would be "limiting" themselves.

Most lifters who go into the game with that sort of a mindset (i.e. Ronnie, arnold and co are natties and so anyone who is a serious trainer can reach there) either drop out once they see they cant even get close to Ronnie, or take the AAS route (nothing wrong may be according to some, but they why the hell do they have to believe the roided freaks to be natural )

And to add to this...unless you are a natural genetic freak like the above names, steroids won't help you become Coleman.

So many young trainees still believe that steroids are the only aspect of the equation. Far from true. HGH is a major part of modern bodybuilding, and is much more expensive then steroids and requires a longer time investment.

On the bright side, Franco Columbu was 5'5" 185. It doesn't take 260 pounds to look big.

It's well known that they took steroids in the Pumping Iron days. Even Schwarzenegger has come clean about this. Fact is, they didn't have the information back then about how dangerous the drugs are. But Columbu found that the negatives far outweighed the positives; you got big but you lost definition. And he notes that musclemen who kept using drugs eventually developed fat stomachs.

He sees those symptoms in today's bodybuilders, some of whom are so massive they make the Pumping Iron bunch seem small. Columbu sees a lot of fat stomachs, which indicates to him that drugs are rampant. He tells young athletes and bodybuilders to stay off the juice, including Human Growth Hormone (HGH).

"Old people are trying to live longer, but young people want to win," he explains. "Even if you tell them that they are taking something that is killing them. But ... the minute you start taking these drugs, your workout stops. You will be depending on that instead of going to the gym. Once you switch your mind to depend on a secret like steroids, winning is over.""
