What is everyones opinions on the trap bar for hypertrophy in upper and lower body?

I actually use the TB for all of my deficit deads, block pulls and conventional deads. I find it easier on my lower back. I also use it for high rep shrugs, RDLs and Farmers Carry. I have used it for OH Press just to see how it would feel. After a while I started having discomfort in my shoulder.

So to answer your question, I don't see why you couldn't use it for hypertrophy.

I used to love the trap bar for squats at my old gym. It was great on my back and felt good. I would include this into my leg routine or my "300" type of workout days.

I've never been able to get comfortable with it. The grips are too far apart for deadlifts, and I always end up using even worse form (more strain on the lower back) when I try to use it compared to a conventional deadlift. It's also really hard to get an even grip with heavier weights. The thing always wants to lean forwards or backwards.

But I'm sure it's useful. Just not for me, lol. Anyone else have these issues or am I the exception?
