Classic looks great,
But no disrespect to the modern guys who get super lean (as I know its difficult to achieve)

I just like bit more fat, looks more solid to me - even if its a bit of contradiction.

Modern naturals are training and dieting the same way as the drugged guys and trying to achieve the same superdry look. This leaves them looking smaller IMO. It also shows that the classic guys had more of a focus on strength. It wasn't unusual for a bodybuilding show to contain a strength element back in the day. These guys were every bit as strong as they looked.

Classics, they really looked and were strong. True bodybuilders in my opinion.

Classic. Mainly because I think the classic look is 'healthier,' and that's probably because health is what they trained for. That's more or less what Reeves looked like year round. Wild guess, but I think the modern natty probably can only maintain that dry, shredded look for a limited amount of time, does it for contests and photo shoots and spends a great deal of the year looking mediocre if not sub-par.

I just finished Reeves' book, and bulking and cutting' was not mentioned once.

What I'm saying is, classic lifter looked great year-round and today's lifters only look great when there's a photo shoot or a contest coming up. Or so it seems.

Classic.

But to be honest, based on the pictures of Reeves and Francisco, there's little to choose.

Dont get me wrong but i dont respect the today's bodybuilders,i dont like gorilla type, steroid guys..
But please see Golden age old ''Natural'' bodybuilders Reg park,Steve Reeves,Leroy Colbert,John Grimek,Reg Lewis,Vince Gironda etc..
These people deserve respect, because They are accomplish this task without facilities and super uber supplements..They are natural and hard working and amazing stronger !

That picture of Steve Reeves always annoys me. The aspect ratios are off... aren't they? Looking through the photos in Steve's book I am sure that photo is too wide, and not tall enough. He doesn't look like a tall man in that photo.

Yes I prefer the classic physique, just based on the picture, but the difference surely is just body fat percentage.
I'm not keen on physiques that are too low in the bf.
