Default How do I set up an olympic bar wrist roller?

So I've come across a few methods using one end of an oly barbell. The first uses a vehicle tie-down strap with s-hook, where you just wrap it around a couple of times, attach a DB or KB with the hook, and you're done. The second, you use a resistance (aka jump stretch) band, hook it through the handle of a DB or KB, loop over once at the top, and go. The third, you somehow attach a thin rubber strip, then tie a length of rope to that, and at the other end, to a DB or KB.

(The DB or KB could also be a plate, I guess.)

Which of these would work best, or is a better way that's cheap, easy and convenient, for wrist rolling using a barbell?

Do you specifically want the bar to be set up and stable, or, do you want a set up that you have to hold?

This $70 piece from IronMind does both.

I made something similar out of some aluminum tube (old picnic table umbrella, rope and a 1" diameter piece of pipe for around $5.00).
