I just wanted to add, and I know I'm going against the grain here, but if you want to grow your legs and focus on hypertrophy then squats are not the way. All the unilateral leg exercises like split squats, lunges, step-ups, etc they are good mass builders.

In ADDITION to squats, I'd agree with you. I still think you need a BIG strength building exercise in there to drive gains.

Even though the weight is very light, that sounds incredibly tough to me. I don't think I could even do bodyweight squats for eight minutes, unless I've misunderstood what the program's asking for.

Tann;
Appears the weight is static @ 145lbs the variable is time. I've never heard of this program yet yesterday started something similar for Bench, results are yet to be seen.

Good luck with the program regev19978.

Jesus, that's an insane amount of time to be squatting. I once did 50 reps with 135 and I thought my back was being torn out.

I agree with the idea that squats actually aren't the best leg mass builders. When I do high rep squats my lower back goes out way before my legs go. If you wanna do high rep TUT stuff than leg presses are best.

Of front squats if you can pull it off. I couldn't.
