Lifting straps

Do you think that lifting straps really help improve your lifts? How many of the lifters on here us them? I was told that they would help me lift better, so I could build bigger muscles. True?

I use them when I get to my heaviest DLs. Now I find that the lifts that were heavy in the past and needed the straps no longer need them, as the loads increase, and the lesser weights can be done strapless.

No doubt, they help a lot. When the grip goes, the form goes.

I just started using straps ( within the last 6 months) I find them very helpful. My bent over and one arm rows are growing by leaps and bounds

I use straps for heavy pulls. I don't use them for a lot but bb rows and deadlifts are pretty much it, db rows if I do them also.

I find they help and if you don't rely on them, your grip strength will go up too.

Get hold of some leather, make them yourself ;) Clarence Bass uses seatbelt material and does the same thing.

I use them as well. I have seen an improvement in my form as well.
