not having enough energy to complete workout
hii all,

Doing full body workouts and sometimes during the 2nd or 3rd workout of the week my weight tends to dip a bit or i can get enough reps, with this its hard for me to make progress, is i due to sleep, not eating enough or any other possibility's ?

How many calories are you eating per day? Also, what is your height, weight and age?

One last question...what program are you using?

roughly around 2100, height 5ft 11, 135 pounds, 18 years old

full body workout
bench press
1 arm rows
pull ups
dips if i can due to the lack of energy
dumbbell shoulder press
sometimes some machines if i have lack of energy e.g shoulder press machine
3 sets, 8-10 sometimes mix things up with 6-8 reps or 10-12

When you say, "roughly around 2100", it sets bells off in my head. That usually means that it's not an exact number because you've never really worked it out or been consistent.

Are you gaining weight on your current caloric intake?
If yes, how much and how fast?

Have you thought about doing a more abbreviated version of full-body training?

You could do fewer lifts in one day and it will allow you to put all your energy into them.

Something like:

Bar Dips,

Shoulder Press

IMO, it's usually a combination of things that are awry rather than just 1 thing. However, usually it's diet related. Even something as simple as a Vitamin D deficiency can cause a problem. I would increase calories just a bit at a time, say 100-200 per day, and make sure your getting all the macros and the micros you need every day. You can make adjustments to the macros, like more carbs, one at a time and then re-evaluate.

That definitely tells me that you are not eating enough. That is probably the reason for the low energy; it's not enough to fuel your workouts AND your recuperation, putting you in an over-trained state. Increase calories and possibly reduce your workload a bit for a few weeks and see what happens. Make sure you are getting enough sleep too.

thanks for the advice

If you feed/sleep right, your energy should come right back at your age...

You are as thin as I was at your age and I as under eating. You could probably add 500-1000 calories and do well.

Holy crap, 135lb? Jesus. When I was your age I was 275 at the same height.
