My motivation approach is the opposite of everyone elses and very negative.
Most people say everything adds up... to an extent; muscle and strength alike builds over time... when you put in work that is. However everything decreases and people don't tell you that. If you wantmaintain, you need to put in work. If you want to get better you must put in even more work. If you want to stagnate and rot away all the time and effort you already put in, nothing I can say will motivate you.
