Feeling dizzy after lifting
Is it normal for me to feel dizzy after lifting? I never used to but within the past few weeks I often feel dizzy. Could it be that I am pushing myself too much? I have been trying to lift more so I put the blame on that. Is it safe to assume that this is the case or should I see a doc about it? In the past few weeks, I have added about ten pounds the first week to what I was lifting and an additional ten pounds last week.

Are you feeling dizzy after a set, or after the workout?
Are you staying hydrated?
Do you have a history of vertigo?

I've gotten dizzy after particularly tough sessions. Does that mean what you are feeling is normal? Who knows? But I'm sure several of us have experienced it.

As already stated, energy can be zapped by a tough session; there is also the aspect of taking in enough energy prior to a heavy workout which can make a difference.
