Is there a certain tip that maybe changed the way you lifted? Gave you better results? If so please share here.

i spend a lot of time focusing on flexing the muscle group or muscle that i am working on, its not enough in my head to just complete the movement, i try my hardest to mentally connect and feel what im working on.

BtB gave me some BP advice once. He said, "Pull the bar down." Immediately my back arched and tightened. I felt stronger. I remind myself of that every time I bench.

Well my one trainer pointed out i did not have to work out 5 days a week. He an steve pointed out 3 days a week would work perfect, an steve help me create a perfect system. So it was all because of steve I am shattering PR's.

Focus on the basic compound moves to gain strength. Take a long hard look at your exercises and remove those which contribute little to your ultimate goal.

Doing 1-finger deadlifts improved my deadlift form, due to the nature of the grip.

Lots of other things but too numerous to mention; mostly studying and analysing other people's form very carefully.

The absolute best tip I ever got, which propelled me from a pretty awful novice powerlifter to the nationally competitive, lean, sexy hunk of a man you all now know was in a conversation with Dan John via email about a decade ago.

He told me... quite simply.... to check back through my own logs and look for trends in stuff that works and stuff that doesn't. Simple really! But it highlighted for me the fact that I would work great for two weeks then usually drop off at that point. For anyone who's read even a few of my posts here, as they say, the rest is history.
