I keep a pic of the "FAT" me close by all the time...I wont change my work ID photo for that very reason...always reminds me to never become "That" guy again!!
Best Gym Lifts...Dosen't matter....they don't count!
Best Meet Lifts:
Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888
The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I kinda see it as a state of mind, not anything external.
Therefore, I choose to be motivated. That's it.
I almost wish there was something else to it, because this post probably isn't going to be helpful in any way. :/ But seriously, that's how it works. As far as I can tell.
edit: Okay, well, I guess progression helps a lot. So, making some kind of progress with the weights. Reps, weight, technique, that kind of thing. Other than that, I still got nothin'...

Once you do something for awhile, it becomes a habit in and of itself.
Remember the Law of Inertia:
"An Object in Motion will tend to Remain in Motion and An Object at Rest will tend to Remain at Rest:
"Unless Acted Upon by an Outside Force."
As I have observed before, The Law of Entropy Enters in.
You hear of folks:
"Falling into Error,"
"Falling into Vice."
You don't hear about folks "Falling" into Truth and Virtue.
Nonetheless, it is far easier to keep good habits going than it is to get them established in the first place.

The gift of life and vitality, is through movement. When you peel off the blinders and really view people interaction and see more than what meets the eye, and connect brain, you can see many, many people in today's society that have many uncommon ailments and problems because they simply do not move enough, and eat far more than these movement demands.
I look in the eye, kiss and hug everyday, and tell the one I love, she...is the one that motivates me under the iron.
It it will simply death before I stop moving my beloved iron. It is my soul, my heart, and has proven so many, many things to me over the years I have been friends.

Form progression is a key motivator for me.
