    Hey Adam,

    I would recommend 2 set per at 8 - 10. Progress the next week after hitting 10.
    Also, saw there was a little police action at your gym. Wild.

    This could be the case. Your central nervous system could be waking up more with each set, recruiting more fibers.

    I definitely recommend straps for deadlifting, preferably Versa Gripps.
