Fedorenko uses a style of swing here which I've not come across before, soft elbows, it is possible that it relieves any stress on the elbow joint or surrounding tissues; it may also be that the higher the KB load the better this technique is. I'll be keeping an eye out to see how the technique of others compare, and whether many or even any use this particular technique.
It's interesting to see that he suggests using KBs more so for endurance work and not for several short bursts.
Someone did suggest that the above swing technique is a "high pull" but it is not, there is a subtle difference in the arc of the swing and the height, as seen in the vid below:
