Welcome coop

Im not sure of lifting routines to assist in pitching, but whatever the case... dont go nuts and risk shoulder injury. As a pitcher messing up your shoulder is end game, and with bodybuilding comes occasional shoulder pain.

Welcome.

post it in the general forums for now...I'd be curious to hear what you know. I'm always having, recovering from or about to have a shoulder injury! LOL

Hello everyone. My name is John, I'm a Correctional Officer from Central Illinois. I've been hitting the weights on and off since High School, consistent the last three years. Trying to recover from a nice little Rotator Strain I got from doing lockouts (long story), needless to say I missed my first meet back in Oct. and here I am now.

6'2" 300 lbs.
Bench 445 (before injury)
Squat 600
Dead 500

Hoping to get my numbers back up and surpass the old ones!

Welcome to the board and strong numbers. Where are you with the recovery process? Can you bench moderately heavy yet?

Hope you roll up a training log and stay a while. We have a good bunch of guys here.

Thanks for the Welcome!

I'll have a training log up and running soon.

ROM seems to be back (had an AC Separation with a surgical repair back in '94, limits my overhead extension), light DB and resistance bands for rotation work 2-3 times a week, did some bench earlier in the week with 320 for 5x5. Felt alright, just a little ache.
