Fast forward to today. I have been reading Louie Simmons articles for many months and started a very basic,novice,butchered version of Westside. No bands or chains (for now). And instead of Mon/We/Fr/Sun my schedule is Mo/Tu/Th/Fr. More on that later,I will start a log here Monday night.

I read and watch everything I see strength related with an open mind and critical eyes,but I'm still learning (arn't we all?) I appreciate all criticism and advice,and try to do the same to others when I feel I can. Sometimes the discussions turn into arguments,and I'm not always right. Every now and then when I don't feel like someone will steal my phone,I record my lifts and will post them either on photobucket or youtube.

I started applying Westsides principles in auguust,not long after I joined another muscle training forum. I even know a few people here from there,so that will be fun. Without working in the winter I have more time,I do wish I had found this website sooner. Although without work and in need of a vehicle,I don't have much money to devote to supplements,gear (belt shoes etc) and my diet isn't consistent,but I try.

A washed up bodybuilder asked me why I want to compete in powerlifting. "Because its an honest test of myself when the weight gets heavy." I promised myself I would never be average,and as my signature line says,I have a lot to live up to and a long way to go. I have a 43" waist and a theoratical 995 total,so don't expect any bragging from me. I'm thinking about joining 100% raw powerlifting fed,and would love to do a meet in april in NC. Also shoutout to Steve Shaw,I've learned a lot from him in the past few months.
