my hitting this year has been not too hot. i have games where i go deep, but then have games where i cant get the ball out of the infield. i am dropping my arms horribly and cant seem to lift them. maybe thats because the day before my games i typically have shoulders, then game night i have arms, and the next game night i have shoulders. the day after all my games i have legs. i am mixing it up though. thursday i did chest, friday golfed 18 holes no weights. sat/sun off. back in there today doing arms as follows

Taste 10/10

Mixability 10/10 - i like that i only have to give 2 or 3 shakes and its good to go

Strength 10/10 - when the zone hits you know

Focus 9/10 - i could not seemed to get moving at all today. family is back in town so we are all getting back on schedule.

Pump 10/10 -

Overall Performance 9.5/10

No problems falling asleep

One arm DB row 55x13 @4 sets
wide grip lat PD 115x13 @3 sets
standing v bar row 115x13 @3 sets
straight arm pushdowns 55x13 @3 sets
ez-bar curl 90x13 @4 sets
incline db curl 30x13 @3 sets
BB behind back wrist curl 65x15 @3 sets

crunches 30 @ 3 sets

tomorrow is shoulders, wed-legs and softball games. no weights thursday so we will see how i hit. my pitching has gotten better, i discovered a nasty knuckle ball....

The mixability is pretty pre-mo. That really is all it takes!

Yeah, so I took off a few days last week and then hit very well on Friday night. I think there's something to when to train what bodypart! hahaha

You still doing the Stoppani S2S program?

yes still doing this. my max week killed me and i think broke me down. that feeling when you lift really big and then have to go back to smaller weight plays a mental game on you.

leg day
woke up early today. both kids decided to get up at 0345. after taking care of them i decided that it wasnt work going back to bed for 20 mins 0400. so i juiced up with my JHP and headed to the gym. to keep myself from becoming bored i added ezbar curls between each set. ran with a smaller weight just to feel a bit but not kill myself after each set. had a killer mindset today.

Squats 155x15 @ 4 sets
Leg Press 220x15 @ 3 sets
Leg Extensions 110x15 @ 3 sets
Deadlift 155x15 @ 3 sets
Leg Curls 110x15 @ 3 sets
ab work 30 mins various crunches, 12# ball leg lifts, scissor kicks

ez bar curls 55x15 after each set of legs. ran it in a superset.

now im tired... 3 cups of coffee isnt going to cut it.

Overtraining is possible. A day off sometimes works. I had to take a few off last week. That was new for me. I usually drag my butt there and after a little bit, the endorphins kick in and I start feeling it. JHP helps a lot too. Sometimes you just have a 2 scoop day, you know what I mean?
